This song reminds me greatly of mental illness. I know my story doesn’t matter but me being someone who suffers from many mental illnesses (Schizoaffective Disorder, Bipolar, Depression and Anxiety) This song gives me comfort. To anyone suffering, You aren’t alone.

I've a fan of metal and playing guitar since about 1975, and I have to say this is one of my all time fave modern metal songs. Its just beautifully written and constructed. The guitar solo should be taught as metal soloing 101. It's not just a bunch of tricks, riffs and runs that seem to permeate so much of metal guitar these days. It is melodic and has parts you can sing. it has sections and tells a story. The breakdown after the solo just kicks ass. A7X is not a copy of any other band. They have carved out their own unique sound and style.

My uncle is locked away in prison doing 10 years, he wrote me a note with these lyrics “And I’m chained like a slave, trapped in the dark, slammed all the locks, death calls my name and it seems I’ve been buried alive” asking me if I can look for the song for him.
