90% of India’s workforce works in the unorganised sector. Yet this is the sector that remains the most ignored. In the name of formalisation of the economy, all major steps taken so far have harmed the MSME sector instead of helping them. From demonetisation, to GST, to the covid-19 pandemic induced lockdown, all spelled doom for the workers in the unorganised sector.
Still the MSME sector produces over 6000 different types of products, contributes to 30% of the GDP and upto 45% of the country’s exports!
Why can’t we give the unroganised sector the true support it needs? Oh, then what will happen to our global champions who feed on small fishes to grow larger? Watch the episode to find out more! If you like the video, please ‘like, share and subscribe.’

I like how she presents the reports with a bit of her own flair ;)

Great video. It is on each one of us to choose to buy from msme rather than big brands. Malls, e-commerce are luxuries the urban middle class is getting hooked on, at the expense of our own colonization.

Amazing videos.. cracknomics rocks>> Although can check some minor errors like e.g. when she is describing MSME slabs its important .. she says its annual turnover but it was the capex slabs .. turnover slabs are different.. what matters is that how it has changed favouring big cos.

A video well made.
Just a little suggestion please see that if you can remove those 'woosh' sounds after each fact source you present, kind of makes it hard to follow the video.😅

Until countries hit the Lewis turning point, labor does not have pricing power. Also high cost of land acquisition in urban areas is making, investors towards capital intensive sectors. Resistance to land acquisition, is the problem

A good and informative video. Suggest be less sarcastic towards govt in your narration. Being critical about government policies is certainly desirable and was well done.
