Baby Corp Is A Cult | Boss Baby Video Essay

For my first ever official video essay, I present to you the end of sanity for humanity. Reaching to the bottom of the barrel, I present a poorly conceived argument about why Boss Baby is actually about an abusive corporation with cult-like behavior.

I do hope to do more video essays in the future! I don’t know if they’ll be serious or not, I believe it will be a mix of both. And I am getting a new mic in November, so I plan on doing so much more!

The concept of eternal puppy's is evil too. As I have a rescue rabbit Flopsy. Who will always look like baby bunny. As she had a litter of babies when she was far too young. Which stunted her growth, as all her energy. Was put into growing her babies. Although on the surface it's cute she is an eternal baby rabbit. The real issue is she has a lot of health issues and it will shorten her life expectancy. So I makes me wonder what long term effects the formula will have on the puppy core puppies and babies at baby core. As the real pet industry. Treats pets like products. As a Boss Baby fan (I'm being 100% serious) I approve of this theory.

Fun fact, in the first season of the second Boss Baby Netflix show, it turns out in the end that Baby Corp were the real bad guys of the season, as the people who were opposing Baby Corp at the time were trying to send a message that what they were doing in that season was wrong. In my opinion, that makes this theory even more believable, since the show itself calls out Baby Corp for being in the wrong.

i always found it interesting that they never revealed boss baby’s name in the movie. i know im looking a bit too deeply into it, but it makes him seem like an anonymous figure, just another corporate entity that has no name. throughout the movie, he has to form his identity with his family because the company has no concerns about the babies as individuals, to the point where they have no identity.

I’m very confused on how baby corp even exists because like does no one give birth? Some people must… if no one knows about baby Corp … what happens to the babies that baby corp replaces with workers????

I just realized, if the babies show up to your house without you even knowing, and two rings are on the love chart(Representing marriage or the love for their partners) Baby corp could just send you a baby without you knowing so that they can take the love from another piece of the chart

Adding on to this theory

The villain of this movie is a ex baby corp employee, after he got fired he was sent to a farm to live a normal life with loving parents which is obviously a good thing except baby corp doesn’t think so. They put the fear of god into their employees that if they’re fired they will live a normal life like example Tim’s life so Theo is afraid of being fired since they literally manipulate their employees into thinking that living a normal life is a bad thing so they set it up as a punishment for being fired. Hell they literally give the employees formula so they don’t turn into normal babies, being a regular kid is looked down upon at baby corp, they treat actual babies a nothing but dirt under their shoe.

Also in the show there is a episode where Theo and his team are sent to complete in a pageant for some mission, they specifically select one character (I can’t remember her name) to compete in the pageant except she is uncomfortable with pageants and girly stuff but they force her anyways proving that they don’t care about their employees and their best interests at heart.

When this movie came out my dad guilted my sister into "picking this movie out for us to go see to celebrate your birthday" by claiming our little brother was super excited about it. Turns out my little brother had no idea what this movie was, and was bored the entire time. Somehow the trailers for this movie compelled an adult man to create an elaborate lie to make an excuse to go see it. I hate this fucking movie.

BabyCorp really reminds me of Lulu Lemon and the whole scandal over how employees were treated. The whole thing lead to one employee stabbing the other because she was so afraid of being fired. Not of being arrested when she got caught stealing, but being fired because that meant losing her friends, her support group, the people who called themselves her family.

This movie disturbed me so much but everyone always says I’m just overthinking kids shows and I need to turn my brain off to enjoy it. That’s not how art works!
