☺ I'm hugely flattered to have been a part of the inspiration for this, and absolutely THRILLED that you're re-reading in the new year 😁

The short stories and novella aren't *necessary* to the series overall, but if you're wanting to keep the relevant ones in chronological order, there's only one in The Inheritance that could add to the experience (the rest are short stories that *could* be set anywhere, that happen to be in the Six Duchies). Homecoming is the origin story for a region you learn about in Liveship Traders. You could read it after Farseer, or save it for later in 2024 when the Hobb withdrawal kicks in 😆, and the novella The Wilful Princess and The Piebald Prince describes an historic event that gives a huge amount of context to Fool's Errand, squeeze it in after Liveships and before Tawny Man to get the most from it.

Even though I am a HUGE fan, I have a mismatched, ragtag collection of the books. Some are missing (I presume lent and unreturned, or read on Kindle). So I'm very envious of this gorgeous collection. I read the Fitz and the Fool Trilogy as they came out, devouring them on release week each time. I want to play along just to get back to them. They're that good. Fun idea, and exciting unboxing.

I'm planning on starting the first series in January or February. I was joining mike, Scott and madison with their read along. I'm jealous of those books. I just have the first 3 in regularpaperbacks. I live on disability so I buy my books cheaply. I'll keep an eye out on your channel for any content you do for them.

Thought you might have been unboxing some Fred Saberhagen with the sword...
I found my dad's copy of Liebowitz along with a lot of pulp books from the 60s and a stack of Analog magazines. It is one of books a lot of people know about but few have read. Will be slipping it in at some point as it is fairly short.
But there is just something wrong with empty space on a bookshelf.

yay! The Realm of the Elderlings is probably my favorite series ever. I'm actually reading the very last book this month, so I'm not quite finished with it, but because of that I sadly won't join the readalong. While I'm very sure that I will reread the series, this is a bit too soon for that :D but I'm definitely looking forward to reviews or other content about the series!

Hola, I have just seen your video and I love the idea. I am just reading for the first time Assassin´s Apprentice and I am loving it!!!. So I think I will join you in February for the second one and the rest from them. That will give me time to buy them little by little and not get too anxious and try to read all one after the other (my tendency) and get burned out 😄
