The leaders of the G20 meet for exchange once or twice a year. In the late nineties the focus was on economic and financial issues. Meanwhile, however, the group members also deal with topics such as climate, energy, nutrition, health or social issues. I have to say that I have just heard about G20 for several years. Forgive me. And dammm. G20 has existed for nearly 23 years. A long time, older than my age hihihi.
What is G20? G stands for group and 20 stands for the most industrialized and emerging countries plus EU. ( I have just study about the emerging country and superpower country, the Emerging country is a country that transitioning from a low-income, less-developed economy toward a modern industrialized country. For example China, India, Japan, and Russia. However superpower country is only United States. ) I have to say that 20 stands for the most emerging countries and a superpower country is the U.S.
What is the goal of G20? to fight global crises and to prevent crises
Oh someone will think G20 is the group that is established to help the world, like a hero.
But there are someone who disagree about this. What about the voice from other nations? G20 all support policies based on economic growth and maximizing profit. Relating to inequality, wars, emigration.
