The Dell'Arte Hommage has long been one of the best selling Gypsy jazz guitars of all time. Made in San Diego by John Kinnard, this model has proven itself in the hands of so many of the greats including Jimmy Rosenberg, Boulou Ferre, Angelo Debarre, Robin Nolan, etc.

This unique varation is called the "Studio Model." It features a Sitka spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides, walnut neck, and a Rosewood fingerboard. Ivoroid binding, dotless fretboard, and a simplified rosette give the guitar a beautifully clean, fresh "woodsy" look.

Soundwise it doesn't get better than this! This is definitely one of my favorite Hommage guitars. It has a big, open Favino type sound with some nice sparkly highs that really make the chords shimmer and the leads sing. And man is it LOUD! It's up there with the best of the campfire guitars...can cut through anything. Strangely, this guitar sounds a lot like one of Bob Holo's creations. I bet if Bob made a Favino style guitar it would sound like this.

Body proportions are classic Favino: 16 1/2" body and a 675mm scale length.
