When We Were Very Young - The Christening

When We Were Very Young is a book of poetry by A. A. Milne. Frst published in 1924, and illustrated by E. H. Shepard, the book begins with an introduction entitled "Just Before We Begin", which, in part, tells readers to imagine for themselves who the narrator is, and that it might be Christopher Robin. This is a beautiful collection of poems which lead to the introduction of a Mr Edward Bear, later known as "Winnie the Pooh"
