Hmmm happened in South Africa and prices never recovered eggs are now almost 70% more. Very suspicious (puts on tin foil hat) but seriously suspicious

November 22 those eggs have been made into pies, cookies, cakes, and a myriad of other things that contain eggs! So they couldn’t have been too contaminated!

What could possibly cause such a recall, i want an actual reason not a level. Eggs are good unwashed, being left on the counter for months!

I live in a town of about 98 people. As of yesterday, eggs are 8.99 for a dozen! I have a friend living in north Idaho and she just told me 18 eggs were $12 at the Safeway near her!
