Roberto baggio was shooting goals after goals and it was the finals for the World Cup he alway dream of winning the World Cup but he missed the goal and the Opponent’s won and he stood in the same spot for a long time and this is why people called him the Man who died standing up because he was so dang sad but he’s alive he’s not dead he’s ok. He was the last person standing and if he didn’t score the goal to this shot then their chances would be over, he’d always dreamed of winning. So when he missed he nearly stood there standing for 20 mins. It’s called the man who died standing but he never actually died it’s just a metaphor.
