Alright. Ima just explain how these work.

The Kyber Crystals have a chip inside them, an RFID enabled chip. When you place the crystal, the lightsaber scans the chip and determines which color is placed.

You can actually take these crystals and hack them with an RFID Reader/Writer, making them any color you want. No, they don't work with anything else, because it doesn't have the RFID chip inside it. Yes, you can program a random RFID chip and place it inside to make it any color you want, tbh you should look into this. With a RFID data transmitter, some buttons and an arduino, you can hack the lightsaber to make it any color you want on demand with the press of a button.

Actually, they can Glow loads more colors It's just that they only sell those ones There are several places online where you can find codes for different colors that the sabers can read

You can’t have a black light and have it glow black but one time I put a black core in the blade and had it glow white and il looked just like the darksaber did!
