Galaxy's Edge Interactive Lightsaber Stand and Kyber Crystal Pad Review

Styled off the lightsaber stand and customisation stations in both Jedi Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor games, Disney have now released their own version of the lightsaber display stand.

This is available in Galaxy's Edge from Dok Ondar's Den of Antiquities and is the perfect accompaniment for the Legacy Lightsaber Line produced by Disney and available from Galaxy's Edge and to some degree ShopDisney.

This lightsaber stand is designed to show off not only your lightsabers but also your kyber crystal collection.

Disney designed a kyber crystal pad / holder / stand which is similar to the ones used in the build-a-lightsaber experience available at Disney parks in Batuu.

This kyber crystal is electronic and connects to the stand to light up when a crystal is placed on it. As a plus - it looks like it also works with custom kyber crystals - I'll give you a look at how those look in this video.

It's a great stand, but they missed so many things with this. As well as the things you mentioned, why oh why didn't they make the clear parts that touch the saber light up!!
I think the circular thing in the centre is a photoreceptor which senses the change in light when a crystal is put on it.
With the cost of these here in the UK (No official Disney outlet in Europe still!) and the recent quality control issues I've experienced from Disney products I don't think this will really be something I will pick up. It is a nice piece though.

I have the old and new stand, I just really wish the new one had more lights, plus the accessories you attach barely even light up too

Do you have an official black crystal? I’d be curious what it does on the stand.

Good design. Except it's not a recharagable battery. It's a bit uncomfortable for display shelf.

Here I was trying to use an allen wrench thinking I could open up the stand arms to "hold" my light saber.

I've had this and a saber from Disney for like a year now and I can't think of where to put it on display. I want to have the actual saber still connected and not just display the hilt.. but it makes for an awkward display piece if you want to show it by itself, you almost need something on both ends of the saber to center the saber on something.. call me crazy but I feel like hanging a single shelf for just the saber would make it look so off center by itself.. anyone have any cool display pictures or videos?
