Army 11X | Will You Be 11B(Infantryman) Or 11C(Indirect Fire)

In today's video we talk about what Army MOS you'll be thrown into should you pick 11X at the recruiting station. The two possible outcomes are 11B or 11C. We talk about if there are specific things that determine if you go one or the other, so be sure to watch all the way through!

There's usually a 11C shipment per month so if you're that shipment you'll be a 11C. Only 1 battalion trains 11C. So there's more chance of B than C. But 11C are better!!!

I didn’t want be a 11c but I’m just going with the cards I’m dealt. It was pretty cool and fun during the mortar training. As of now the only Battalion that trains 11c on sandhill it’s 1-19 IN.

I was an 11C 25th I.D.
We are infantrymen. I'm taken back by your statement. It's 11X for a reason. We are both 11 series infantry. We may be pulled to help 11b visa versa. I have cleared houses and train in shoot houses etc... you can easily re- classify, just speak to your platoon sgt and go up the chain. We are classified together because we are both As you put it "infantry, infantrymen"

I leave on September 26th. I want to be an 11b Bc that to me looks like the most challenging job in the army. I WANT TO BE AN AIRBORNE RANGER!

So I ship to Benning in December. It’s a 11x contract guaranteed first duty station Hawaii 25th infantry division. My contract says I’ll either be trained in 11b or 11c. I would way rather have 11B. Idk if 11C is in Hawaii.

I’m with the 11charlie battalion on Sandhill. My company has either the 1st or 2nd highest AcFT score at fort Benning. And compared to the 11Bs we had more of us qualify expert for RM. also we ruck heavy, really couldn’t see anybody else doing what we do.

When I went to bct in 2017 they told me it was based off the 11b or 11c of the the national guard recruits

I remember back in 2006 when i joined they literally had us in formation and just went down the line saying bravo, bravo, bravo, Charlie. I of course was one of the lucky charlies 😑

So you were correct when you said about 25% become charlies.

I'm trying to decide between 11X with the hopes of being 11B or 13F. 11B seems a lot more simple than 13F and I'm afraid of failing the more complex parts of 13F but there's no guarantee that I'll get 11B, so I don't know what to do.

11 charlies do way more digging than 11 Bravos, due to the fact they are ALWAYS digging mortar pits justabout whenever you laager. A bravo, you just dig a fighting hole. A mortar pit is huge comparitively speaking.
