Can you recommend zone 9 flowering plants that are short / low to ground?

Everything looks so healthy. You even have snapdragons. I'm in 8b and starting my first cut flower garden this year. I have absolutely no shaded areas to plant in. And I am really fearing our south Texas sun. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
