Is Wealth Inequality a Crisis?

Senators Warren (D-MA) and Sanders (D-VT) are both proposing a new annual wealth tax to address the issue of wealth inequality. However, wealth inequality gives very little indication of poverty versus prosperity. Plans to address this issue should aim to expand everyone's wealth, not divide it up.

It's not wealth inequality per se, but it's magnitude, that is so disconcerting.

I've lost interest in defending the wealth of the world's 2, 000 or so billionaires. It's time to look out for the billions of people on this planet who work very hard every single day who are barely getting by.

Imagine a perfect socialist society where every single person has precisely the same wealth.
Joe makes a work of art. Everyone else is content as sheep.
Infinite income inequality.
