This is the problem. 1 person getting their info stolen is too many yet Activision makes it sound like it’s ok cuz it only impacted a small number (nobody really knows what that number is except Activision) of people. In other words downplaying it like it’s not a big deal. Activision standards are nowhere near an expectation of a consumers. They do not nor will they take it seriously (even though they claim they do) because those resources spent wouldn’t make them money in return. If they took it seriously they would outsource the anti-cheat software and/or programing to protect you the player. Which btw they won’t do because they’re more interested in putting your money in their pockets. But hey keep buying the games and store bundles people.

If the source code for the thing that lets them do this spreads around then there's nothing stopping Treyarch from seeing how the program is getting access to the information and patching the game to remove the security flaw. Whether or not they'll do it is another matter.

It is mind blowing that people still playing any CoD. People risk IP and so on for a game. That is crazy.

The solution is these people who are targeted by the hackers need to file lawsuits since the game is still being sold at retail. The problem is that Activision could just pull the plug on all of these games to “fix” the problem.

It’s also way more satisfying to complete games solo.

It's sad that BOCW has like half of it's content when you play offline because 1 some of the multiplayer maps are gone, 2 rise of the mamaback is broken, if you press the pause button it'll freeze the game, 3 you can't play faceoff against bots, 4 no big team modes, 5 the camos I put on my custom classes get removed after every match but not the attachments

I stopped playing Cold War once Vanguard came out and the rank progression thing cause everyone’s rank to reset and I’m like a level 30 used to be at the level by 400
