First off the jet did not fly into the DC SFRA (the restricted airspace). The SFRA tops at 18, 000 feet, FL180, and the jet was at 34, 000 feet, FL340, not even close. Any aircraft can fly over this airspace at and above FL180 and above that altitude you have to be on an IFR flight plan.
My guesses. Either the pilot suffered from a medical issue and was incapacitated or the plane suffered an explosive decompression which would kill everyone on board. The pilot has the emergency O2 mask he can don if there's time. That is he may have been rendered unconscious fairly quickly and never got it on.
Explosive decompression is what brought down Pane Stewert's Lear Jet in 1999.

The departure point was likely the last sequence waypoint in the GPS and it was just following what was programed.
