Ever wondered why real-world quantum computing doesn't always match the theory? Dive into this lecture as we unravel the mysteries of noise and imperfections in quantum systems. We'll answer the burning questions: "What should you know before working on an actual quantum processor?" and "Why doesn't the output match expectations?"

This is a must-watch for anyone venturing into the realm of quantum computing, offering a focused deep-dive into the inherent challenges and the essentials to overcome them. Join us on this enlightening journey into the noisy heart of quantum tech!

The Qiskit Global Summer School 2023 was a two-week intensive summer program designed to empower the quantum researchers and developers of tomorrow with the know-how to explore the world of quantum computing, as well as refresh and sharpen the industry professional's skills.

At 29:47, shouldn't the column vectors and row vectors be flipped in the matrix at the bottom (|0> and |1> for the column vectors and <0| and <1| for the row vectors)?

hello, at 34:45, does this analysis apply for a state needed to be prepared in already superposition not just as the noisy eve acts on a pure state?

hello, where is the effect of state preparation noise on the full picture of all types of noise? is that shifting or shrinking of the curve from ideally 1 or 0 same effect of state measurement error and which is stronger ? thank you so much
