Ever wondered why real-world quantum computing doesn't always match the theory? Dive into this lecture as we unravel the mysteries of noise and imperfections in quantum systems. We'll answer the burning questions: "What should you know before working on an actual quantum processor?" and "Why doesn't the output match expectations?"

This is a must-watch for anyone venturing into the realm of quantum computing, offering a focused deep-dive into the inherent challenges and the essentials to overcome them. Join us on this enlightening journey into the noisy heart of quantum tech!

The Qiskit Global Summer School 2023 was a two-week intensive summer program designed to empower the quantum researchers and developers of tomorrow with the know-how to explore the world of quantum computing, as well as refresh and sharpen the industry professional's skills.

**The #QGSS23 discord server has closed with the conclusion of the live summer school course

17:21 isn’t the Pauli Z matrix is ( 1 0, 0 -1) . ? The matrix in the video showed as Z is the identity matrix right? Correct me if I am missing something

1a miscalibration such as over qubit and processors it needs some invoke incantation like primitive qubit is a living things mixture with gas correct and made of qubit thank you

I was trying to do this flipping and measuring Z operator on a laptop, but i was able to do for 30 qubits, not 100. it showing some error over 30. Probably need to do on a real quantum hardware from IBM.

I wasn't able to watch all the lectures during QGSS. Are all the lectures here? I heard mention of Prof John's lectures in this video but i don't find his lecture videos for QGSS 23 here 🥹
