Please pray for me and my two autistic children I’m struggling to provide for them. I’m overwhelmed since losing my job

Got some tears from this one. The immensely magical impact a loving parent can have on their children. Making them a full, embodied human being that enriches us all.

I think God is more about giving strength and presenting opportunities to us. You have to walk through the door yourself however. That's why we have free will.

100%. I'm Christian but I've noticed that so many believers have this passive way of being in the world. They think, well just endure this life, keep your head down and all will be well in gotta make the most out of your life here and now. And it is your responsibility

"Do not test the Lord your God." Think of God like your navigator. He's giving you the right directions, but that doesn't mean you're free from turbulence, let alone a storm. So if you just decide to veer off course, it's on you.

Human ability of story telling is one of our greatest assets. We can get closer and understand each other from it better

Thanks, Guys! I love this! I have 4 boys & am always in need of wisdom & guidance like this. I bought Greenlights on Audible when it first came out & will share it with each of my sons at an appropriate time. We also have 12 Rules for Life & Beyond Order & listen to them both frequently, and your podcast. Thank you, Dr. Peterson, for helping to improve my life & the life of my family. You are a Godsend!

I didn't like my father when I was younger, I didn't hate him, I just didn't like him. That perplexed me for a very long time as I became an adult and started to develop a closer relationship with my father.

Hate, like love, is a very powerful feeling. Hate is the opposite of love. Generally, we know precisely why we hate or love, but I couldn't figure out why I disliked my father for years, decades even.

When it finally occurred to me why I disliked my father at a young age, I felt like a fool for not figuring it out much sooner.

I am a stubborn person. It runs in the family, and my father is also stubborn. We are both very strong-willed. My father was the one guy I could count on to not put up with my bullshit then or now. When he laid the law down, that was it, like it or not, and I would feel his wrath when I opposed his will. He didn't sugar coat anything. He called it as he saw it, and sometimes I thought he was just not supporting me when he was really trying to teach me to think things through as he does.

These are the real reasons I didn't like my father in my youth. I am glad I had a father who didn't sugarcoat things. I am glad I had a father who didn't put up with my shit. Every kid needs at least one parental figure or adult role model who will fill that same role. God blessed me with a wonderful father. Much like they say here: the same hands that disciplined me also hugged me.

I learned from my relationship with my mortal father how I should view my relationship with my Heavenly Father, and for that, I am grateful to both.

It hurts to see Dr. Peterson this sick. I am overjoyed that he has come so far and regained so much health and strength since this video was made.

Protect Matthew at all costs. Takes balls of someone in his peer group to talk to this man.

You simply cannot because it doesn't work that way. God gives us strength. Be faithful

I consider this present suffering to be meaningless compared to the coming glory. I’ve taken my childhood suffering to God’s throne and now understand that this too was part of my life. I don’t endorse suffering but I know that how you view your suffering determines whether you become a better person or a broken person.

When a man truly surrenders to God he finds peace with himself and also his past . You still don’t get it . Get your hands off the wheel lean not unto your “own” understanding but in all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct our paths, a path of peace and a true understanding of our inability to find it through our own narcissistic ways .
“Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭12‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Jordan you’re a brilliant man and you are a passionate man as well and i watch your videos and you are all over and around being a believer, but I feel your biggest set back or struggle is your incredible intellect trying to mingle logic with faith. There is a place for both I hope you find it… just an old country boy’s perspective…

To be 'the best you can be, ' is impossible without God's Grace.' simply because we have no idea of how perfect we are.

Dude. JP’s analysis and rejection of Cole’s bleak outlook got me pumped. I’m gonna rewatch that first season I think.
