I, a physics student, for once feel empathy for engineers.

Actually going up to systems of DE and then going into Laplace or any other transform domain is quite a nice change because everything just becomes algebraic again. But the "trying to remember if the derivative/integral of sin/cos has a negative sign or not" is so damn true

Am I the only person that can't move on without reading the proof.

Me watching this instead of studying for my exams in a few weeks

Remember this
Integrated value of any Trigonometry function which starts with letter C will have negative in front of them.

Alot of times I would be in class thinking of all the shit learned/struggled with from math and engineering physics and would someday hope to distill that feeling into a video. This is that video.

The linear algebra projections really unlocked memories like that

Bro i managed to get B with jamie on Calc 3 but failed with nightmare of a professor David Muraki lmao. Also Linear algebra was insane. Truly one of the courses of all time. Randall pyke best option for it

nahh but fr 3blue1brown's algebra videos really helped me understand the concept of eigenvalues and eigenvectors

1:18 actually, the most frightening one is infinity multiplied by zero

Took math 251, 310 and 240 as electives and Aced all of them. I was the only business student in the class.

1:22 Linear algebra is notoriously difficult to visualize. 3Blue1Brown's playlist finally taught me what's going on when you take the determinant of a matrix!

Also, what is the intuition behind the Laplace Transform???

I always remember this "INtegral of sINUS is mINUS"

1:19 the third and fourth are not indeterminate forms becuase 0/inf is just 0*1/inf which is just 0 and inf/0 is just inf*1/0 which is inf, however you just have to study the sign of that 0 and that inf (inf is infinity).

So I’m not the only one who gives up trying understand the whole idea and just tries to memorize solution to every problem

Well Laplace and Z, but even Fourier and Legendre transform ain't so bad actually

The most accurate slander I've ever seen omg and I study Physics :)

Funniest part is that linear algebra projections literally come right after REF stuff.

Wait till you get to Eigen-Space decompositions and complex valued matrices.
