Fun fact: biologists hate math so much that when Mendel proposed the inheritance theory they actually rejected it purely on the basis that it contained simple mathematics...and years after it was rediscovered and proved again so they had to accept it

As a zoologist who graduated from biology 4 years ago, I can confirm that the math joke is 100% true. I still remember being in first year, being a rookie, and thinking, FINALLY! I WILL STUDY ONLY WHAT I ENJOY. How stupid I was, I don't remember a greater blow of reality than when I entered Mathematics I and Biostatistics, it took me 3 years to pass those two subjects xd

I would like to point out that there's a whole field called "Bio-Mathematics". This is to where biologists that can do math are going. Forcibly. Going. So the other fields (except for bio-physics and bio-informatics because one would assume they know at least the basics of maths) can outsorce their maths to them.
