In Insidious: The Red Door, the horror franchise’s original cast returns for the final chapter of the Lambert family’s terrifying saga. To put their demons to rest once and for all, Josh (Patrick Wilson) and a college-aged Dalton (Ty Simpkins) must go deeper into The Further than ever before, facing their family’s dark past and a host of new and more horrifying terrors that lurk behind the red door.

The original cast from Insidious is back with Patrick Wilson (also making his directorial debut), Ty Simpkins, Rose Byrne, and Andrew Astor. Also starring Sinclair Daniel and Hiam Abbass. Produced by Jason Blum, Oren Peli, James Wan and Leigh Whannell. The screenplay is written by Scott Teems from a story by Leigh Whannell, based on characters created by Leigh Whannell.

The MRI scene is terrifying

Edit : I didn’t really find the scene that scary but the idea of actually being in that situation, trapped with nowhere to go.

All time classic 👏❤ This Franchise introduced paranormal horror and scary genre in the most profound way possible. So many references and knowledge that actually exist in religious books. There have been many paranormal stories consisting of a family being haunted but none come close to how incredible INSIDIOUS is. Lin Shaye has become a medium for us all who introduced us to the world of 'The Further'. Insidious has portrayed the exact vision and even feeling of dread and what true horror is. The way it coiled me into the story since the first chapter is unbreakable. This franchise is much more than jump scares, blood, gore and violence. It's something that's not human or human made but a world of entities that we can only study and try to save ourselves from. The dread and loneliness of that world gets to you as u realise you're gonna be there one day... Truly a masterpiece 🙌

The original insidious had me doing that thing where you turn on the bedroom lights, turn off the living room lights, and then run really fast to the bedroom and hide under the covers. Since then they've only gotten better. This is the best horror franchise to ever exist.
