Uncovered 42 years after leaving Yankees game

Charles “Chip” Murphy and his friends, die-hard New York Yankees fans, attended a home game April 29th, 1982 in which Ken Griffey and the crew battled the California Angels. Later that night, Chip, driving his 1974 #Camaro, dropped his friends off in Ridgefield Park New Jersey and vanished without a trace. Only 25 years old at the time, him nor his vehicle would ever be seen again. 42 years later, our team uncovered Chip’s remains in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey 2 blocks from his last known location. Rest in peace, Chip🕊️

I used to watch you with my grandma. She would pray for you as you went underwater in search. Her brother went missing when she was a teen and never found. She had great admiration for you and the amazing work you do. She passed away and I had not watched you since. Getting your video today brought me to tears.
