That looks like a really useful device. Good to see more electronics that can be fitted to low power rockets. It would be marvellous to see a "real world" demonstration of the system in action :-)

It's kinda the same as the RTX from Missile works I guess, but that has a 9 mile radius and cost around $200 for both units (rocket and handhold part). I hope this one is cheaper !!!!

Does it require acceleration to turn on or is it a simple "turn on switch" to get it to start transmitting?

Is there any requirement for a HAM radio license to use this like the other one you offer on your web site.
