Ever wondered why some shepherds carry a long pole with a metal tip? You see, in steep, rocky regions, they use it for the Shepherd’s Leap—a technique that helps them jump down safely from heights. By planting the pole just before landing, they absorb the impact and stay balanced, almost like a natural shock absorber. This simple but effective trick is allowing shepherds to move quickly and safely across rough terrain without risking injury.
