You put your body on top of mine
Every time that you lift me up
To the heavens and stars above
Ooh Lord have mercy I'm begging you

Enjoy:)

to end this awful and nerve wracking discussion: yes riders fail. not everything is perfect and sometimes they lose their cool. sometimes people hold on to whatever they can when they fall. its simple reflex. sometimes, no matter how hard a rider might be trying, they aren't fair to their horses. that is why this video is called fails and falls. you know, sometimes it is funny. I am sure all of you have laughed over someone falling in a funny way.
And then there are the idiots that actually abuse their horse. Yes, they also exist. But does a single one of you know those people personally and has evidence? What kind of unkind behaviour is it, to accuse riders that stand under enormous pressure, over the internet, of mistreating their animals? the animals they not only love, but also need. THAT is unfair!
I am all for a normal, civilized discussion, cause there are things we should be talking about. But there is no need to bully anyone. You don't want to know how many ugly comments I had to delete already.

I know I’m a bit late to the show, but to all the comments complaining about how all the jockeys are tugging on the horses’ mouths, yes you’re supposed to let go right away. That’s what you’re SUPPOSED to do. But you try falling off a 16 or 17 hand horse mid jump, see what you do. Most likely, unless you have great presence of mind, you’re gonna pull. Humans have instincts too, one of them is to grab something to stop yourself from falling. Whether you trip or stumble or fall off balance, you immediately reach out for something. The riens are already in your hand, you’re gonna pull in an attempt to right yourself. Whatever happens in that split second during an accident is not an indicator of the rider’s ability. It’s an indicator of that human’s self-protective instinct.

I don't care if the people are hurting themselfes.
I hope they have luck that the injuries are not to bad.

But when I see such things I hope everytime that the horses are not injured.

Poor horses and riders. :( They are not perfect but they are trying. Nobody is perfect

1:11 this has to be a point where you should let your horse go. I mean, there is no way you can come back into the saddle from that position

Tbh I just see riders making mistakes doing dangerous things and the poor horse paying for it....

All of these are so if I was the rider I would get up and tell my horse "it's okay buddy it wasn't your fault, you weren't ready for the jump, you tried tho" and then check to see if the horse is okay, and then at the end of day I would tell the horse "it's okay, you did your best today, you tried, we just have to practice a little more, and next time we'll make sure we're ready before we go in" and then give the horse a treat

Horses can feel your fear so feel brave when you are coming to a jump and if the horse dont wants to jump then try after some trys again if it still doesnt want then you trained it badly and remember..its not the horse fault its only your becazse you got on the horse and you wanted to ride it.

1:09 drop the reins and fall dude! if he would've just dropped the reins the horse wouldn't have done that rear thing at the end and stepped on him.

I've seen the horse sport industry dispose of so say "bad horses" because they fed back to the rider "you're a rubbish rider, get off my back, get off my mouth" I've seen them arrive at a natural horsemanship yard. With proper horsemen amd women. To then be treated gently with the respect they deserve, to then go on after a few weeks of love language leadership and jump a course of jumps beautifully with no restrictions of severe bits, nosebands, martingales. Proving the competition world to be an ugly place with ugly humans wanting winnings and glory. See right through the cover up. World is onto you and your wicked ways.

1:29 can someone explain why horses jump like that and not how they normally do? I’m a rider but I don’t jump horses or have anything to do with that topic..
I know from the comment section that it’s mostly the riders fault but what went wrong there for the horse to jump like that?

I'm not going to lie and be 100% school horse and I have bonded so great this past 2 can sit on him with no stirrups or reins and he will not move...and like yesterday, I had the guts to ride like that downhillish on our way home after an is soooo obedient and has never bucked, threw me off, etc....but I'm ngl ...he does deny, not often but like any other horse, he can sometimes be lazy, and he knocks I know he will never on purpose hurt my favorite😂😁

Brave horse that try their best when the riders fail at giving the horse right help to jump.

I am not sure why people do this.. but ok. People and horses got hurt - despite the clever editing. I am surprised that at the skill level of these riders why they miscalculated their jumps so badly. I am not an arm chair critic.. but these are high level experienced professional riders. Everyone has to push to extremes. These horses break down - some quicker than others. They don’t chose to do this. The riders do - they accept the risk. How riders stay on is tribute to their skill. But at what cost?
