2019 Canadian Election: NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh Dominates Debate

It was a fantastic 2019 election debate for NDP leader Jagmeet Singh. He was obviously the winner, offering Canadians a vision that was not seen in Mr. Delay and Mr. Deny (Justin Trudeau and Andrew Scheer respectively.)

“I want to say this directly to Canadians. You do not need to choose between Mr. Delay and Mr. Deny."

Singh likewise suggested that Scheer and Trudeau "need to stop arguing about who's worse for Canada, we need to focus on who's best for Canada"

He also offered a different path from Blanchet, Elizabeth May, and Maxime Bernier. By standing up against the rich and powerful, and for working people and good programs like Pharmacare and dental care, Jagmeet Singh demonstrated that the SinghUpswing is for real!

I think this will have a positive effect for Singh in the Canadian polls

If you have the resources the NDP needs all the help it can get in terms of donations. We're up against two big machines that will take money from anyone and anything. If Jagmeet and the NDP are going to have a chance, something like Bernie's fundraising movement is needed.

I'm a lefty that was forced to vote for Trudeau last cycle (I'm in a riding that was less than 300 votes between liberal and conservative) even though I usually vote Green. This time I found Christo after seeing him on David Doel. He's turned me. I'm voting NDP this time, for the first time. I got a call from the NDP party a couple weeks ago and I told them to look into Christo because he is the one who has pulled me from the Greens into the NDP camp. I like Jagmeet, but it took me a minute to understand that he is truly against the pipeline and will end fossil fuel subsidies.

If you watched CBCs undecided voter segment it seems like Singh came off best, even from a mom from Cold Lake Alberta. I really hope the NDP win a few seats here in Alberta. I am going to be voting NDP in my ridding

NDP as usual with endless spending promises with no way to pay for them, and moral pretentiousness. Taxing people more is not a growth solution even if they are wealthy. NDP economic policy drives business out.
