Tom Mulcair must have been annoyed to hear that Jagmeet Singh still holds power in cabinet

The total vote is basically even but 160-120 in seats?? You tell me if there isn't something drastically wrong with the way seats are set up. I could see a 10 or even 20 seat win but 40?

It's not about only two parties: Liberals versus Conservatives... it's progressive versus conservatives and the popular vote showed that Canadians voted more for progressive parties than conservative parties on a whole... thank goodness.

This is an historical opportunity to get the balance right for Climate and Economic progress in Canada. Yes we need a serious Carbon Tax to inspire the transition to new Climate Friendly Energy, but we also need Pipelines. We can`t continue to pretend that shipping Oil by Train is safe while we continue to use gas in our cars. Take a look at the streets of Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Gasoline engines are prevalent and most can`t yet afford to change. This transition could take 2 decades.
We need to consider the model of Norway where the Government is using money from it`s thriving Oil Industry to pay for the absolutely necessary change to new Energy. We have an opportunity to be as smart as Norway. I hope we see that!
