Couple of things I'm only minute into video so sorry if you cover these things. One really love to hear how that bigger 77 feels compared to the 55's you had there before if you could talk on that sometime. Oh and how a 77 feels from that shorter distance vs the lol 15 feet in living room setup. I respect your reasoning for that I'm just asking for thoughts on it to help others get an idea of the difference. Also QD OLED gaming, both those QD OLED from last year have burn in on Rtings testing while none of the LGs do that has me very nervous about getting one some day. I've spent good bit of time at my local best buy messing with one but man...I don't know. Let me edit in here I can't for the life of me figure out how you don't find that pc lighting distracting while playing with it in direct line of sight under the tv, no way I could deal with that one. Yea loving my 83 inch C1, its gonna take something special for me to replace it early. I'm prob locked in for 3 yrs at least I bet.

Anyone who never had an OLED TV would still be blown away by the C1. This set is still leaps and bounds better than 90% of people's 2022 or 2023 Walmart LED TV. Most people just don't know any better and can't really justify what they're getting. Most people buy TV's on size and price. I wouldn't personally buy one in 2023 cause I'm into modern tech but I'm not tone deaf on reality when it comes to the practical common man.

As a proud owner of the LG C1 65inch, I definitely think it was ahead of it’s time in terms of features and build quality that are still relevant to this day within the gaming world. It was my first OLED TV that I ever bought and it will be in my man cave for years to come. I say the LG C1 is the grandfather of all OLEDs that many people will look back and appreciate how much of a great TV it was and still is. 🙏🏼

The LG C1 will most definitely be looked back on as a LEGENDARY TV display and one of the greatest gaming TVs at the time of release. There's a reason why it's so popular and so many people own & LOVE the ICONIC LG C1. It'll age gracefully imo

How can the LG C1 not still be a incredible OLED TV with all it offers still in 2023. Sometimes you get a TV that is just that good from a previous year and it's still impressive. I haven't heard any negative reviews about the C1. Plus the sales for this TV were crazy good.

My C1 TK is the best investment I ever made in a tv. Yes there is QD-OLED, Yes there is now MLA, yes the panel tech overall has gotten better but one of that interests me. My C1 has and continues to check all the boxes I need in a tv or could want at this point in the game. Maybe in 3 to 4 years I will finally upgrade because who knows where this great Tech will be? But as long as my C1 keeps kicking and ticking there will be no upgrades anytime soon. My focus is on the audio side of things now and getting some badass Klipsch speakers like you have in your main setup my brother. Great video and as always Max Luv to you and the family.

The C1 got an Update in the past that improved the Highlight details and the tone mapping (Tech Tracks HD), so it should be good enough imo. I also thinking about a 77 C1 for a good price.

Damn!! The aesthetic by the TV is so 🔥.

Goes to show how important dialing in settings are for the C1. Have to disable those dimming features. 120hz BFI for single player games, in a dark room, is also unmatched. Buttery smooth. Even beats my 240hz OLED monitor & at 4K!

C1 is the complete package if you can find one on the cheap. Keeping my 77 til it passes, won’t be for a looong time since all the 77 models are WBE too.

Still loving my 65" C1 which I bought at launch. The only things I didn't like about it are Dolby Vision which seems to dim the picture too much, and Dolby Vision gaming which messes with the colours. HDR10 just looks fantastic on all content, so I use that whenever I can and have DV turned off on my Xbox. I was thinking about upgrading to the 77" S95C like you have, but gonna wait until next year as I believe they will make a lot of improvements, especially with the settings. Also curious to see what the Sony A95L is like.

Yeah i got the 65 in CX and it still has a stellar picture... sometimes looks brighter than the G2 i have until i remember to set the g2 back to vivid picture for movies instead of game mode

Still got mine and loving it of the brightness and the color volume would be a plus but I love it still and planned on keeping it till it die. It’s a 77 inch and my daily driver. I don’t baby this tv at all and it’s still in excellent condition n performance it just so we’ll build I love it

Man, I've been playing Tears of the Kingdom on the OLED handheld and I'm just thinking how great it'd look on a OLED TV. Hell, I got a 3080 so I can definitely push some frames if I ever wanted to emulate it at a higher fps too.

As always, great video and insight. Thanks again.

So I can compare my stuff, could you show off game mode settings on your c1? Picture mode, color etc. I’d appreciate it.

The LG C1 offers an experience that is unobtainable for the newer TVs: 120fps OLED Motion Pro high gives you a Motion clarity that's equivalent to playing the games at 312fps on a 4k OLED (which doesn't exist yet). The input lag penalty about 10ms which can be completely compensated by the fact that GPU utilization will be reduced by having to locked the FPS, meaning, to prevent any drops the GPU can't be close to 100%, and instead it will be around 85% which will improve the render latency in 10ms or more (it depends on the game)

The black crush made me get rid of it. Also some of the dolby vision content were too dark
