if we sending a data from arduino to nodemcu ....tx of arduino to rx nodemcu alone connected enough? the vice versa pins(rx, tx) of arduino and nodemcu not needed to connect?

Bhaiya mai jab string bhej raha hoon Arduino se NodeMCU ko aur NodeMCU side pe print kar k dekh raha hoon to kuch kuch data loss ho jaa raha hai. example: 12, 13 arduino side se send hua to NodeMCU side pe kabhi 2, 13 aaraha hai to kabhi 3 aa raha hai. kya wires ka problem hai?

How you will read more than 2 data var using data.substring() function? For example, I got 10 data var to be sent from Nano to ESP32. How you will code this. Thank you in advance😃
