Beautiful natural fork and to much fun making and shooting them. Good shooting mate ✊. When I was a wee lad my grandfather used to make me slingshots with the bicycle tubes 😂. I had a chuckle when you said that. I love gamekeeper John channel to 🤙. Nice setup with the double band's.

Back in sixties bike tube was the norm, that’s how elastic bands were made to hold newspapers together when they throw them, i never knew anything else existed like making own out from a tree, nothing like it. Drew a dinosaur picture on a piece of board and my grandson at about five , I let him with the hand held jigsaw cut it out, all the bought toys no more good for he never let that thing go for the longest time ❤

I usually dry my forks 6 months before carving them . Drying wood without cracking is easy if you put thick layer of glue on end grain. On all three ends. And I don't remove all of the bark. Little strips here and there.

Hey daniel i was wondering with your scouts was it whether you need to modify the poutches to shoot darts?
And would like to know if you can shoot broadhead darts at goats? Do you make yours?
I would think carbon fibre would be a bit light? Should they be steel rods cos im sure i can hammer some broadheads from a rod.
