Heat alone couldn't start single fire. But 100 and no lightings? More than suspicious.

no its not because it was warm it was because idiots lit the fires.

Interesting how they happened seemingly all at once in quick succession without lightning strikes.
It's almost as if...

I thought this was supposed to be a controlled burn that was getting a little out of hand ?

Crazy how spontaneous combustion doesn’t happen in countries where it’s 30 plus degrees everyday and a lot drier

Why aren't we talking about that women firefighters group that was up to God-knows-what in that area, in the last week? Those gals have some explaining to do.

Can we not manage our forests better? People can be trained to clear bush, thin & harvest, put preventative fire breaks. What a great work project, employing many people. Imagine the carbon footprint and cost of evacuations, fire suppression, etc.

Stop building houses in ancient wildfire zones or ancient flood plains... repeating the same mistake expecting a different result is the definition of Crazy.. Add Tornado/Hurricane Alleys & Earthquake Zones to that list.. BUILD FOR THE ZONE! With the degradation of our "Collective Intelligence" we should add Volcano to that list too, just to prepare for the future idiocy.. LOL 8p

There are dry forests everywhere in Canada, yet other provinces do not have a problem. Funny it is only happening in a conservative province.
