I honestly think that people who still ship Andy with Haley don't remember this scene. The most important part of it is that as Haley said she can always be herself, and Dylan will always love her for it. There is nothing better than when you can be your absolute messy self and someone loves you anyway. This is why Dylan and Haley are meant to be. Andy will always be a part of her romantic past, but Dylan is her future

I will never understand the Andy hype. He was great don’t get me wrong, but having been a loyal fan from the beginning it was always Dylan, he had his issues but had a heart of gold. He loved Hayley inside out. And I think the fact Claire always disapproved of him is perfect. It was a lesson for Claire too no matter how much you try you have to let your children make their own choices, just like Jay disapproved of Phill. And everyone saying Phill is Andy. Are we all forgetting the golden moments from the first couple of series ? Phill was literally obsessed with Dylan and saw himself in him. I think this complicated relationship is a perfect nod to phill and Claire’s complicated start to their relationship and the disapproval it faced. Remeber this is MODERN family. The whole reason the show started was to show a modern family with all its quirks and imperfections. Hayley and Andy would’ve been far to ‘perfect happily ever after’ in my eyes

When I see people saying that Haley should've ended up with Andy, the only thing I remember is that episode when Claire tried to imagine what her life would be like if she had married that college professor. Like that scenario, Andy and Haley may look perfect together, but that was just for now. With Dylan, as she said, she sees her life as it should be, not "perfect", but perfect.

I liked Dylan and Haley together from the beginning. I like that the show came full circle. It started with Haley and Dylan together and ended with them together.

Oh this is horrible, they developed Andy and Haley relationship for so long, they were shown as basically soul mates, they were perfect together and then they let it die. I guess bringing Dylan back was the cheaper/easier option. Still dont see why she had to have a "closure" for her romantic life and even worst with Dylan. Is like none of them grew up at all.

Thought they were perfect but it just melts my heart that how much Dylan ❤️ loved Haley from all the way to start ....He loved her in every step of their journey....He loved the real Haley he was sort of dumb but his love and ways to go beyond expectations to bring a smile on Haley's face show the real love....
Ya Andy loved her and maybe she did too but we all saw how every now and then she always went back to Dylan because he was her comfort and love
Maybe sometimes people who seem perfect for us doesn't come in life to stay forever but just to make us a better

Dylan's never tried to change Haley.
If that's not respect and acceptance what is?.
He never made her compromise on herself. He uplifted himself rather than pushing Haley and maybe inspire her to be what she actually is.
She went in fashion and that what relationship needs to be. Uplift each other not step on one another or sacrifice other for your own goal.

see how Haley is actually remaking the love story of her parents?(if you still don't know claire was also actually a baddie back in her day and phil was a hippie cheerleader but when claire got pregnant things sort of changed they matured....just like haley:)
