Just what does it actually take for Microsoft to hire these guys, support them on a full team scale, revive back the Surface Neo and Duo but as Windows machines? They don't have to compete with Android, as long as it is windows, there is always a way to get things running. If only they didn't kill the android app support this dream would've come true in this day and age.

I found that in Windows 11 using two monitors extended desktop, it opens apps on the last used monitor. This highlights the multitasking genius in Microsoft Launcher on Duo. It recognizes which screen is being engaged.

That would have been the dream. Windows with SMS & call support, all the apps that i need could be a web app, or if they would keep WSA that would also be an option. But it will be a dream i guess

Suppose Windows on Arm will be a big thing in the future (because of Snapdragon X Elite and so on). Wouldn't OEMs like Lenovo try designs like Foldable Laptops (2 in one or Tablets), which would require Win 11 to work seamlessly on that hardware? This looks like a window in the future of Windows.

i wish they launched windows phone OS again with better app support. Windows Phone OS is the best for me .

Actually, Windows 8 / 8.1 and Windows 10 mobile was the best for any touch screen devices. The UI was superb ! . Far much better than Android, IOS, iPad OS, or any. I had used windows 10 phone like Lumia 650. and many windows 2in1 pc since windows 8 was out including surface go and surface pro.

When I saw the Surface duo being teased I was hoping they would make it dual booting of android and windows. imagine having your phone with you all day doing phone stuff then coming home and docking it for your pc. would make for a killer work setup.

Duo should of had this from the beginning. Once the bugs have been fixed then this would have been an amazing device.

I haven't seen anyone try to use this device with Windows 11 similar to the way I use Samsung DEX. I'd be very interested in seeing if you connect this to a lapdock via USB-C do you get video output and keyboard/mouse that works? Can you use an external display and use this as a Windows 11 micro-PC more than just the novelty?

good start. Microsoft should release a alternative windows 11 for android devices, so people can install as custom rom and gives full support of update and security features.

i am not surprised at all . im still using the Galaxybook go with snapdragon 7c with 4GB ram and still good till today

I'm actually running windows on my Xiaomi pad 5, which has the same processor and benefited from this project, and everything works except the cameras ! It's actually very good, and surely the cheapest way to get a 120hz windows tablet with good battery life
It's also very good on Poco X3 pro

Until it have no voice, really hard to find reason to try out. I using xiaomi pad 5 with perfectly working Android/Windows 11 dual boot. But sound is very basic in my opinion to find reason to start a very complicated install proces. But I waiting and i have hope....
