My dad was a fit an healthy person last year around these times. He was spending his time at our summer house doing construction works and gardening labour. And last February he got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer which was already in metastatic condition at its latest stages. He faced it maturely at first nevertheless he deteriorated so fast and the disease weakened him so quickly that he lost more than 20 kilos in a matter of months and he started suffering severe abdominal and back pains. Strongest and most charismatic person i have ever known turned so weak and desperate and I can’t do much about it.

My mom passed away from a long illness tonight with this playing in the background. It wasn’t on purpose—just popped up w/the algorithm—but it was appropriately soothing and beautiful. Thanks for being some of her last sounds.
