Edwards really just closed off that regular season with the truest, sweetest words. Either way of how the playoffs go, 13-0 for the first time is beyond a achievement.

This is the the first time a Michigan team has a record of 13-0, they've had 12-0 seasons but never a 13-0. Also Jim harbaugh is the first Michigan coach to win 25 games in 2 seasons.

Love how coach always makes sure the players get the credit and do the interviews. Great man. HOpe we can keep this staff intact for years to come.

True statement from Donavon Edward's, I had Blake Corum winning the Heisman b4 his injury.

Arguably the greatest Michigan team ever, going by record alone they are.

This team reminds me so much of the 1997 team that won the national title.
Remind that team had 3 future HOF players in Woodson, Hutchinson and Brady.
Here are the similarities:
HEAD COACH -Michigan fans wanted Lloyd Carr's head after the 1994 choke job he did as DC against Colorado and the successive 3 loss seasons before 1997.
Jim Harbaugh was about to be run out of town for his MSU, Ohio State and bowl game choke jobs.
QB-Brian Griese beat out Tom Brady.
JJ McCarthy beat out Cade McNamara.
Griese had trouble throwing deep, JJ did too.
In the Rose Bowl Griese was fired with 3 TD passes, and JJ caught fire with the deep ball the past two games with 3 TDs in both games.
BIGGEST ROAD TEST-in 1997, underdog at Penn State, blew them out .
Underdog this year at Ohio State, blew them out.
CLOSE CALL -in 1997, had to rally at home to beat Notre Dame.
This year had to rally at home to beat Illinois.
SPARTY-in 1997, held them to 7 points against Nick Sabin.
This year held them to 7 points with Melly Mel Tucker .
UNDEFEATED Big 10 titles in 1997 and 2022.
WRs-Michigan's wide receivers and tight ends were underrated and Tai Street and his guys were big in the Rose Bowl.
The winning TD pass in the Rose Bowl went to a tight end
This year's WRs arnd tight ends are similar and the WRs are balling and who scored the go ahead TDs against Ohio State and Purdue?
A tight end!
In 1997, there were two teams undefeated hoping for a national title, Michigan and Nebraska.
In 2022, there are two teams undefeated dreaming about the national title, Michigan and Georgia.

Everyone said Michigan's defense would be a let down this season because Michigan is losing seven of its starters who were in the top eight when it comes to snap counts. Daxton Hill (739 snaps), Vincent Gray (686), Brad Hawkins (678), Aidan Hutchinson (673), Joshua Ross (660), Christopher Hinton (505) and David Ojabo (476) which made up made up the bulk of the defensive experience.

Congrats Michigan from a Buckeye and KSU Wildcat fan. You guys have a great team. You guys definitely have a team that can win it all. Still lots of work left. Not sure if Ohio State can make a run for the championship, but we'll see.
