Thanks for the video 👍🏾my fireplace had the code 88 & a red & green light flashing so I just unplugged it like the video said. So I'll plug 🔌 it back in later and see if it worked

Anyone have an issue with the fireplace turning on when turning off the TV with a completely different remote?

Had ours for going on 2 years. Getting cold out so we turned ours on. Got the 88 code along with a burning smell. Took it apart and cleaned it and it didn't help. The manual is pretty vague as far as trouble shooting. Unplugging for 5 minutes does nothing. Absolute trash for what we paid for it and by the looks of these other comments, I got a feeling we're screwed. Besides, where do I find the factory number if I do get a hold of someone?? Will be sure to tell family and friends to not buy any Whalen heaters.

No manual came with mine. I can not get the fan to run and give heat. It is not in demo mode. All the buttons work as described but do not stay on. I want heat.

Does anyone know where to locate the fuse on this fireplace? Mine stopped working we took it apart and can’t find the fuse

Mine shows 00 for 3 seconds then goes to black. The fire lights come on automatically when it is plugged in and will not turn off. Please help! I already called the 1800 number and the were NO help. Its only 2 weeks old!
