CVS Will Close 900 Stores In The Next 3 Years

CVS announced Thursday it is planning to close about 300 stores per year over the next three years, while increasing its offering of health services. The closures will start in spring of 2022. Katie Johnston reports.

It's gonna get ugly before it gets better with CVS. With closing 10% of total stores that does 2 things 1. Saves the company money by closing under performing stores/pharmacies and 2. It helps with staffing by shifting associates from low volume stores to higher volume stores to cover

This is good and I expect more companies like this to close their stores like rite Aid and Walgreens as well. Let’s face It there are many under performing stores not just with CVS but others as well. We may not like It but overall it will help.
