I used to see a CVS and a Walgreens on the same intersection in many places, but CVS stores began to disappear, and it looks like Walgreens is doing the same. The main problem for them is that stores like Walmart are able to give the same pharmacy experience but provide more selection and cheaper prices for the regular store items that CVS and Walgreens sells.

It's the shoplifting in urban areas!! Several companies have come right out and said it. The losses they take from theft is unsustainable.

With the rapid growth of online pharmacies this was inevitable.

Walgreens sent me an email stating an end of the Rx discounts. In over the last year they have always made some mistake in filling Rx(s) so I’ve move my Rx to Walmart who’s process is just much more modern than Walgreens. Looking for first aid items, can’t find them at Walgreens. It’s become little more that a convenience store with a pharmacy attached. .This video comes as no surprise to me.

Yeah I'm surprised there is no mention about how their stores tend to get robbed often as a reason. 🤔

When people walk out with anything they want, employees told not to do anything and the police can't do anything. What do you expect? I saw someone walk in, walk out calmly with 3 cases of soda. I asked the clerk, did you see that? He says yep, happens all day and night.
