This is Mrs. Crocombe pretending to be 'Kathy Hipperson'... she thinks she's clever!

No magic destroyed. Kathy is as fascinating as Mrs Crocombe. Great work, all of you.

I'm surprised she's not a cook. She's doing that very well for an amateur.

Dr. Gray- "I found when I wore an Edwardian corset I found it made me stand in a sort of horrible, horrible way"
Kathy- "what, like properly?"

Thanks for the interview ! Kathy seems to be a lovely and very talented person ! (She reminds me a lot my french/latin teacher when I was 12 ! )

Just speaking of female matematicians of the victorian age. Ada Lovelace might be a great role to show that there were indeed exceptions. And personally If I wouldn't have been studying computer science I'd never have come in touch with her at all.

Don't worry, the magic will never be broken. At least we know Mrs Hipperson better. Thank you for your amazing work at portraying Mrs Crocombe.

Please make more videos where Mrs Crocombe stares right into my soul.

You know - the one where her glasses are slightly inched below her eyes and she looks at you with a side eye.

Kathy is very pretty! And she also kind of looks like Aubrey Plaza.

As a bit of narcissism, thank you for having a degree that you obtained and then promptly ignored as you pursued other lines of work!

This is absolutely lovely and thank you to everybody that made this happen. Kathy, you do a wonderful job of bringing the character of Mrs. Crocombe to life, and Annie, you do an amazing job of teaching us all about that period in history! Special thanks to you both. C:

I concur! As someone with Autism myself the way she plays the part is submerging into the Victorian age. A calm face and demeanor and on at least two of my favorite subjects History and cooking I cannot get enough! Yes!! Please make more videos!

I came in here expecting to "break the magic" and finally separate the actress from her character, but throughout it all I found myself asking: "Wait, aren't I just watching a modern-day Mrs. Crocombe?"

Kathy is such a brilliant and talented actress in that she manifests her roles into natural, breathing life. Almost as if she has managed to embody her character's traits as if Mrs. Crocombe was an extension her, not the other way around.

Absolutely wonderful and she is both a charm and a valuable talent to the team at English Heritage. Thank you for all your work and dedication, Kathy.
