Walking Into Your FIRST BEE STORE! / Beekeeping 101 #beekeeping

Have you ever been to a bee store?? It's crazy that we can be beekeeping for years and never step foot in one. So this last weekend I made the trip to Napolean, Michigan to visit Tim Greer, owner of Napolean Bee Supply. You can do an easy DIY swarm trap real well out of a double stack nuc. I'm gona hang a few around my property to hopefully catch any missed swarms from my boxes. A lot of old school keepers will also use lemongrass oil. 😉My 1 thing everything is sticky.😂 Merry Christmas Emily.

Those plastic frames have too many places for hive beetles to hide . Look at the sides of the frames of those plastic frames . Too many slots just big enough for beetles to hide . Avoid them !
