Hey Guys!!!
This is Zainali and I am back with a new tutorial in which we would be solving a problem regarding Friction.
Problem Statement: The block of the weight W1=1290N rests on a horizontal surface and supports another block of weight W2=570 N on top as shown. Block of weight W2 is attached to vertical wall by an inclined string AB. Find the force P applied to the lower block that will be necessary to cause the slipping to impend. Coefficient of friction between W1 and W2= 0.25 and that of block and horizontal plane surface=0.40
I have tried my best to explain the above mentioned problem.
