CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — A family business with a 45-year-old legacy closed its doors for the last time on Monday.
Sammy’s Auto Electric Service got its start back in 1979. When owners Mohammad and Colleen Samii first opened their doors, they only knew one person in Champaign.
The shop services electric starters, alternators and generators across the country. Mohammad said he's proud of how he's been able to serve the community and the economy for almost five decades.
