Common Perspective Mistakes - How to Avoid Perspective Mistakes

Показать описание
Common Mistakes in Perspective can make a drawing look 'almost' correct. Stephen uses such a drawing to highlight common mistakes which can be easily avoided. He then draws the same scene with correct perspective so the two can be compared. The impact of getting the perspective correct can be clearly seen.
Architectural subjects become much easier to draw once these basic perspective mistakes are addressed.

Wow! This video was very helpful.. I'm entirely new to drawing and didn't know anything about perspective but I feel pretty confident now

Thank you for your videos on perspective, they have been really helpful. I feel like a lot of other explanations are so complicated and lack examples of practical application. I've been hacking away at perspective for over a year with abysmal results and just watching a few of your videos has really improved my understanding and helped take the "fear" of trying to get perspective right.

I think your videos are really helpful. It’s a surprise I’m only finding them now.

I used to think drawing was too difficult for me but after watching lots of content of other people drawing.I feel like I should start too.
And now I am on my journey of starting drawing again.
This brings me back to where I am.Your videos.I want to start my journey by drawing structures and using perspectives.
Your videos are a real help for this.

I heard from one of the online art teacher that not everything in the scene goes and meet towards the same vanishing points, some have their own vanishing points but in same horizon line . But all the videos i found about perspectives is about all lines goes towards same vanishing points. So I'm confusing what that art teacher tried to say that day?
