This is going to be a long one apologies in advance 😂

So today I decided to implement this and it worked absolutely brilliantly. I started off with a very slow swing and felt my bad shots but everything was still on play. But having your feet together stops you slamming the power down and makes you play a nice soft driver which was still getting me 220 and it felt pathetic for how soft it was. Near then end of the round I have a lovely swing which was sitting around 260. I also never strained or felt like I was over doing things. Effortless would be best to describe the driving swing. I’ll be sure to try this on a match day. Thanks mate 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Wow. I have been doing this for years to keep my swing in balance. I've never seen anyone recommend it; I just figured it out as a way to prevent overswinging, and to keep the whole swing smooth. I have suggested it to other players, and they think I'm crazy. Yes, a wide stance can keep you from falling over even if you are slightly out of balance, but being in balance with a good, smooth swing, will lead to better results.

Hand to God, I went and used this lesson today, and THANK YOU! As someone who was an avg 30 round a year golfer, I had almost given up golf bc I just over complicated every aspect of my game in an attempt to chase the ellusive 70's. For some reason, this lesson reminded me of some little thing from my original swing and it was all good from there. Gonna play around with what this re taught me next week, so fingers 🤞 golf might be fun again. Either way, thank you for the lesson, it truly helped, even for a day, I'll take it.

Alex, you’re a genius! This simple tip combined with the John Rahm setup behind the ball, which you explained in a more recent video, has totally cured my 30 years of slicing and fading. I’m now hitting that baby draw while hitting up on the ball for awesome distance. I mimic this drill when I take my setup, feet together and just take a few slow swings over the ball to make sure I feel the inside out movement. Then take my normal stance and let it fly. This has been a total game changer for me and I can’t thank you enough!

Best practice drill and advice i received to help me with driver. This worked so well with good rhythm, great contact and going straight. I was surprised how far the ball was flying with 1 driver head gap between feet - easy 180 to 200 without any effort. Started wider stance, keeping the swing speed and path and works well. If I hit one a bit offline, going back to narrow stance and build up again. Great video. Thanks

Hi Alex thank you for this video, I am a high handicapper and have gone from shooting +100 to 90/91 in 2 weeks by using the narrow stance with my driver, woods and irons. I grip down when i am teeing up on a hole that i need to hit straight. Love your Channel here in Adelaide Australia

Hi Alex. Got to let you know. I'm off 9 atm, have been a year ago. But, driver killing my game. I draw the ball or more recently push or pull it. Often in trouble off the tee. I tried this on the course today and I've got to say it worked for me. About 15-20 yards down on distance but was hitting the fairway. Smoother tempo really helps as you say you'll fall flat on your face if you swing too hard. I'm going to stick with this as it allows me to use driver, when I've had to go down to 7 wood or Hybrid off the tee to keep in play. Thanks so much. Great channels, like the matches you do on Back 9. Cheers, Brian

Thank you for the video. Won closest drive to the center line in a scramble today. My avg. drive was 220-235, after 3 weeks using the tops in this video. My avg. has gone to 250-260 with a nice baby draw. Man this has improved my scores.

Can’t wait to try this
I’m over top…
Update..
Feet togther didn’t change much for me…
But closing stance by bringing right foot back behind me and stronger grip helped..
Went from AOA down 5.9 to down 0.9!!!

I used this today…it worked perfectly. The key is to not try to smash the ball. I also started turning my wrists over on impact and the more i turn, the bigger the draw..as some who aims far left to allow for the slice..this video has been a game changer!

This is great instruction! I've now kept my feet distance to 2 clubheads apart, it keeps me from over swinging and I'm hitting straight draws
