Hi, as for the amount of requests: Every time someone submits a vote, the page insta refresh, I was on stream and saw 400+ GET requests from my side while I just looked at the page. A example of a fix would be to refresh the page at a fixed interval. As it is a few dozen users would unwillingly cause a DoS.

Some members of our team wanted us to submit the Arduino CLI repo to HacktoberFest but I had the feeling something like this would happen so I pushed for dodging the event and I'm happy I did :D
