I’m currently a Project Coordinator at a Engineering company. Note I don’t have a degree, I basically started out with diploma’s in welding inspection and worked my way up to a Quality Manager and from there was recruited on job to become a Site Manager. Now I’m a Project Coordinator for the same company. My current salary is $3700 a month before tax, which is $45000 annually. This courses you mention and getting the CAPM certification is my next goals to propel my career further. Thank you for the video

Hey Alvin! Can you do a video about organization. What does that look like for you besides using PM software like Jira or MS Projects? How to answer organizational skill interview questions? Is organization different for PM. than other leaders? If so, how? Etc. What do you think? Thanks!

Hey thank you for this post. I just found your channel today and have been watching it! It encouraged me to continue my journey as a PM. I recently completed the google PM program and looking into enrolling to CAPM from PMI.

I guess my question is (hoping you’ve already made a post about it) how do you make a transition into a new industry as a PM entry position? I have a hospitality man again background but want to look into IT, social media, even hospitality if there is something that I’ve missed.

Thank you so much for this info. I have a question: if you have lead a few projects of the same type for the same employer, would you identify each project or summarize the projects all together?

Very insightful video. However, I had a question: how do you projectify experiences where you are the only one working on a project from initiation to end? For example, I've worked on a few short term projects where I was the one to plan the project details and then work to complete those details to finish the project.

Hey Alvin, appreciate the video! I just graduated in Bachelor of Science in Architecture and also just took CAPM certificate, went to several interviews afterwards with PMC company and got a job offer as aAssistant Project Manager position, honestly do you think I should take it eventho I do not have working experience in Architecture field (no site experience etc) or being an Asst. Project Manager will be a whole different thing? Appreciate your advice, I am contemplating as I think I am under-qualified for the position (feels like too much pressure) for a job straight out of college hahaha

Hi Alvin, I received my CAPM in June. I've been searching for project coordinator roles. I haven't had any success. What can I do to at least land a role that is similar to project coordinator that may not have the title but can transition into project mgmt later.
