Just hire a Witcher to kill the Wyvern.

You can kill it a bit faster than attacking with a weapon if you equip the faith ring, both miracle booster rings and the lightning clutch ring and then spam the lightning miracle.
Though I came up with that before actually knowing this was possible

I figured that's how you kill it but after missing 3 plunging attacks o figured I was doing something wrong..

Best way to kill him : go to the area with the many embers . Stand at the stairs, wait till he use flamethrower (not the aoe one), punish him. Did it on my 2nd attempt
