How to Make a World-Famous Pisco Sour!

#Drink Name: Pisco Sour
INGREDIENTS USED (IN ORDER SHOWN):
1/2 oz (15 ml) simple syrup
1 oz (30 ml) fresh lime juice
2 oz (60 ml) pisco
1 egg white (or 2 oz aquafaba)
Angostura bitters for garnish
EQUIPMENT USED:
Boston shaker
Hawthorne strainer
Nick & Nora glass
Eyedropper and toothpick
INSTRUCTIONS:
Start with a large shaker and add the simple syrup, lime juice, pisco, and egg white. Add the small shaker and dry shake (meaning without ice) for about 15 seconds. Add ice to the shaker and shake again for another 15 seconds. Put on your Hawthorne strainer and strain the cocktail into a Nick & Nora glass or your favorite cocktail glass. Garnish with a few drops of Angostura bitters and use a toothpick to draw a fancy design or just serve it up. Cheers!
