Why in heaven's name are you pounding us with that music, when we came to learn about transmissions!? I shut it off.

PLEASE DROP THE MUSIC just about anytime I go on a site with loud music in the background I hit exit. I've started leaving comments such as this. You ruin your otherwise good info with the music. Cheers !

One problem with both designs is there are no vents to cool the internals. I have the smaller, stock one shown in the video, which got extremely hot even with fresh lubrication, almost as hot as the exhaust. Within under 100 miles of riding, the chain was so stretched that it slipped right off. After 3 crude attempts at fashioning a suitable chain tensioner for this narrow enclosure, I gave up and decided the best option was to simply cut off, reposition, and remount the drive sprocket end to the face-plate. Also required are some air holes in the front and back, which could have prevented the need for this fix for thousands of miles. Got what I paid for on this budget ebay engine kit...

I left because the music was loud. Why is there music anyway?

The problem is the clutch it wears out fast due to the force placed on it and the heat it gets really hot . The shoes on mine wore out on a couple of rides and left me stranded. The clutch on these are not realible. Iam using the ezqmatic now much better clutch but heavier transmission . But last longer before replacing clutch.

Can you share a link to this transmission only ( I have the engine already ) and confirm it fits the GX35 Honda 4 stroke, please?

I think the main selling point for me (besides the things you said), is that I can change my gearing to my needs. Power sprockets and speed sprockets are important.

I have some videos on CVT and fixed gear units tried and what failed.
Those holes in the clutch bell are needed for cooling, heat is the enemy of those friction clutches..
You would be better to have a vented casing or caged top cover, there is no gain to having it enclosed it only traps heat.
Chains do not need grease on the outside and it just flies off anyway, they need lube on the inside on the pivot pins.
Put chains in a hot chain lube bath that sets solid inside the pins.
It will be faster and cleaner in production hanging a bunch of chains and lowering them in a lube bath then hanging to drain and cool than greasing them like that and will provide better lube over life that wont run out or fly off.

Wouldn't it be a lot better to seal the housing and put some 75w140 gear oil in it? Just enough for the big sprocket to dip? Also I would think that doubling the gear ratio is a bit overkill unless you also sell different sizes of rear sprockets for the bicycle.

You did not cover belt transmissions, or igh transmissions :)

I'm a big guy, the belt-drive version of this transmission has worked great for me, and it's quieter.

Thats funny he says the bell is solid so it won't break as easy.. i got a engine kit from bbr about a year ago, within about 3hrs of ride time the bell broke from the shaft

Do you have a 7G T-Belt Drive transmission gear box / 5/8 shaft, I purchased a 4 stroke 49cc motorized bike with belt drive transmission gear box, and I'm having problems with the sprocket that fits the back wheel sprocket, what can I do to resolve this problem, the sprocket on the transmission gear box seems to be very loose maybe it's the bushings, I don't know
